At first he said he didn’t want a relationship but said I changed his mind about that. We are now dating exclusively. He says that he doesn’t want to get married again. That he doesn’t know where this is going but he doesn’t want it to end. He says I’ll have to force my way into his life and the only way he’ll marry me is if I force him. We have been seeing each other for a year and 5 months. He cares about me and will do anything to make sure I’m happy. He says he doesn’t know what he’s doing this is all new to him. No other girl has made it as far as me except his exwife.

Can you live without being married. ? Is a partner or SO enough for you? This guy is no likely to marry you unless you force him. And if he or you is unhappy then it will be a "you forced it" kind of reaction. I am not sure if he is over the emotional hurt from Ex wife etc...
