What does it mean when your boyfriend doesn’t follow your social media?

I started talking to this guy online (Hinge) for
a month and we recently started long distance dating. Our main and only form of communication is through phone numbers but we text and facetime every day. We’ve been getting along well with minor problems. However, after a month of knowing each other, I noticed he never asked for my social media or anything. I recently found his insta which is mostly posts about soccer, but saw one of my mutuals follows him even though he's out of state. Is it weird that he never bothered to ask for my social media?

I told the last guy I dated to hide our relationship cause a lot of girls more attractive and richer than me liked him and I did not want to bait competing woman if they thought he was an easy target to attract and win over.
