just to torture someone who has a habit of relying late to texts?
if I notice that they take too long to reply to texts, I usually triple the time it takes for myself to reply to them. If they take 24 hours to reply, I take 72 hours to reply.

I’m a late replier, sometimes I take days. It’s never on purpose, it’s a combination of being busy and not knowing what to say until
I have the time to think about my response. This has hurt me though which kind of sucks because I’d love to talk to the person but it just seems like most millennials find phone calls to be too much of a commitment/22. Texting for me unless it’s for plans feels juvenile, things get misconstrued all the time, it’s so much easier to just talk.
I do, even if it does come of as petty. All I want to say is that if that person wanted to reply to you then they would. Yes everyone has their own life and things going on in their life but if they wanted to they would, so I just give back the same energy, because a lot of people dont like the taste of their own medicine.
No. I reply in normal time or I don't at all. Creating tensions is something for people who love drama.
I have but not out of torture or pettiness, more cause i didn't felt like answering immediately

No as I do not have times for those games nor the patience for the immature who does and/or would think that is fun, expression of kindness, or an expression of empathy. That's pretty dead heart kind of thing to intentionally do to another.
Purposely delaying your response time to someone who habitually responds late to your messages is not a healthy or productive way to handle the situation. It can lead to further misunderstandings, hurt feelings, and damage to the relationship. It's best to communicate openly and directly with the person about how their behavior is affecting you and work together to find a solution that works for both of you.
No lol. I understand that people have lives and might miss messages.
I’m not a big texter myself, I dont reply super often mainly because I’m adhd and just forget to.
purposely taking long to reply was something that I did when I was younger. Now I don’t care to play petty text message games lmao. Too old for all that.
Yeah, I do it sometimes. There was this girl who wanted to text. After around 5 minutes she told me she will be back right away. She didn't come back for hours. I did the same. Next time when we talked I left and came back after 4 days. Now she doesn't want to talk and is mad. Idc so whatever
Only if my texting partner has said their exaughsted mentally and physically I just slow the pace down a lot so they can take the little pauses they may need to keep up.
Na that's that beginner dater type stuff. That's that teen stuff. I don't do that. You either want me or don't. I don't have time for more trauma and games.
I don’t think i’ve ever been so petty in my entire life.
I ignore messages all the time. If you need me, call me
I have messaging disabled on my phone, so if someone wants to text me, good luck with that.
So why do you text them for then…?
If you both playing games with each other’s why bother… lol
Nope. I respond immediately, unless my phone is dead.
Yes, I use to do that but its rude, so I stopped doing it.
What do you initially consider too long?
Yes I do this always to my girlfriend
Always
