Why don’t boys ask me out?

I’ve never been asked out I don't know why. I’m nice and pretty quiet which I thought was a problem but I’ve seen girls way shyer than me get asked out and are in relationships so I don’t think that’s it

i consider myself average looking and I’ve seen girls who are the same attractiveness as me get asked out. I’ve seen women more attractive and less attractive as me get asked out so I don’t think it’s my looks either

i go out and socialize. I go to bars and parties but nothing.

I really don’t know why because it seems like a girl could be my twin with a similar personality will get asked out but not me. Pls help

Don’t be hard on yourself. It’s not you, sometimes it’s just the environment you’re in. Maybe you need to go places more, make more friends, meet new people! I don’t go out much myself or get asked out really, just sometimes hit on by men here and there but maybe just strike up some conversations with new people at school or work, even volunteering, the park, a church. Whatever works best. Confidence is the key. Even if you fall down and get rejected get back up and keep trying if you wanna find someone. Im 24 and been single 2 years not counting my short term relationship with a cheating ex 2 months ago but I’m not giving up! You never know what might be around the corner.

I’m skinny with boobs and ass and I’ve seen girls with my body type and girls the complete opposite of my body shape get asked out. I don’t think it’s looks

i doubt it. if your curvy you should be doing fine. maybe you might be in the odd numbers who never get asked out. if your one of the odd numbers then you gotta make some moves on guys even if you get rejected. its the only way you will get noticed.

Guys are no different from women in the fact that we like attention too. Simply put you give these guys no reason to ask you out. It's BELIEVED erroneously that men make the first move because they generally do the approaching, but they don't. Guys don't like rejection any more than women. So Guys typically approach women that signal they WANT him to approach her. This is why overly flirtatious women get more than thier fair share of attention from guys. Because young inexperienced guys are also pretty stupid when it comes to women. They're not adept enough yet in the manipulative ways of women yet. So they also erroneously believe every woman that gives them any attention actually has interest in him. 😆

So this is why I say you're emotionally unavailable. You want men to ask you out you're going to have to start putting those thoughts in his head about you. You don't want to risk anything then you don't deserve anything. Sorry that's just the way the world works. This just comes more naturally to some than others.

Hmm that actually makes a lot of sense. Because another thing I always wondered was why girls who are more shy than I am get approached more than I do. maybe they talk less than me but they signal interest more through body language or facial expressions…

That's why included that it goes hand in hand. And I wasn't trying to insult women with the "manipulative" comment. Yeah it has a negative connotation but all I meant is women tend to be more invested and elaborate in forming relationships. Which is why you always hear women about men's lack of effort.
I know it sucks that love doesn't just happen (real love). You have to work for it all the time. But anything worth having generally requires effort.
