Why don't guys ask me out?

Well, I am 21, and I have never been in a relationship in my life. This hasn't been a big deal for me before because I believed it was dumb to waste my young years over meaningless relationships, but recently I feel quite unwanted, especially when my friends talk about their partners and I have nothing to say. I'm 87 percent sure that I don't really look ugly or disgusting, so I believe I am not lonely because I've been judged by my appearance, but what's the problem here? I would be happy if you all give me some advice to actually find what is wrong with me or help me find a partner :"( I really don't want to die unloved and alone.

P. S : I hate dating sites or anything similar to finding a partner online, so... yeah...

You've probably established a pattern of making yourself unavailable, so people may learn about that pattern and give you your space. If you want guys to ask you out, let them know you notice them. Comment on things they say or do. Ask for help, or offer help. Bake some cookies and offer to share them.

It's generally easier to connect when you are involved in a group activity rather than coming across as looking for a boyfriend. Let people see you in action. Be a team player. Volunteer in an organization that supports a cause you believe in or an interest of yours.

I had the same issue up until I was 19. But for me the issue was that I wasn’t putting myself out there. I was super introverted and barely went out with friends, and when I do go out, I mostly only go out with my girl friends (who are already in relationships so we didn’t go out meeting other guys lol).

So I would suggest for you to go out there and meet more people irl. Dress up, do your hair/nails/makeup or whatever that makes you feel confident in yourself. Give off positive vibes so that you seem approachable. Or you can also ask your friends if they can set you up with a guy.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with you, and your time will come. Some people get in relationships in their teens, some in their 20s, some in their 30s, and others in their 40s and beyond. I didn’t start getting dates until I was 25, and I was in a similar position as you. I was watching my friends getting married and starting families while I was single as a Pringle. Just continue to grow into the lovely woman that you are, and guys will take notice. And please, please, PLEASE don’t ever settle for less than God’s absolute best.

Ask your friends that same question and tell them to be honest. They will have much better insight than us. I would assume it is something you do that you aren't self aware of.

Don't feel bad. I was 23 when I got asked out for the first time.
