You're a sweet woman, but trust me, as a guy who has nothing of what women want in general, I can tell you that it's wrong. Most women care about appearance, a lot. Most people do, in fact.
And you know I understand the anger, when all you want is to be loved, but sadly you're too ugly, too small, you don't have the right hair color, or eye color, and any attempt to flirt is at best ending with rejection, when it's not complete mockery. I grew past that, I accepted what I was and that I'll never going to find someone. But for some it's hard to accept, it's unfair, and it makes them mad.
And they turn bitter, which worsen the situation making them even more rejected, and so on. At some point they just expect to be rejected.
