One evening he sends his first message after we match saying hello. Then the next day he says good morning. I was turned off by his double msging so I ignored him. About a day after his last message he unmatches, isn’t that a bit much?
This makes sense. What did you expect would happen? I am legitimately confused as to what you're confused about here.
He texted you. He texted you a second time. You ignored him, so he unmatched.
How do you think that should have gone? What do you think would have made sense for this guy to do in this situation? I am genuinely curious. What do YOU expect a guy would do in this situation?

No, not at all.
Guys get far fewer matches than women on dating apps, even at the same level of attractiveness. Obviously the burden is on us to send a "pick up line," but if your message isn't reciprocated, it's perfectly acceptable to unmatch- why even have someone on there who isn't going to talk to you back?
I don't know why it matters. But maybe he has read receipts and saw that you read and ignored his messages. He took it as a sign of disinterest and unmatched you.
I don’t blame him. I get why you were turned off by the double texting, but I also get why he would resent being ignored.

You ignored him so obviously he's going to unmatch you.
Did you originally match with him just to see his opener, or to increase the match counter on your app?
A bit much, huh? You're telling on yourself. You care more about the match count than anything if you consider him unmatching to be worse than your own rudeness in ignoring him.
Nope. You didn't respond. Why should he keep the match for? If you actually were interested, you should have responded.
