Why isn't he making a move?

I have a crush on my male coworker. He's single but has a busy schedule. Last month after finishing a project I invited him to go out for drinks just the two of us and he happily accepted. We're also open with our emotions. We've seen each other cry and he hugged me when I was down. I've bought him gifts a couple of times for helping me with work. He is a good guy but I've observed that he is often (overly) friendly with other female coworkers too. I'm conflicted because I feel that I've sent him plenty of signals but he's not really making his move. What should I do?

There are basically 3 reasons why someone does not make a move to hit on a girl.

1. He is too shy.

2. He is too busy (work, private life, family, friends, hobby or anything else that robs his time to get involved).

3. He simply is not ready to commit because of bad previous bad experiences or being afraid not to be up to par.

If you really want something to happen, then you will have to take into your own hands but beware, you must be ready for rejection and possibly to lose a friendship. Which one is more important to you? Good luck.

I would if I had more reassurance of his feelings for me. Since he's friendly and hepful, I don't feel he treats me all that differently from other female coworkers.
