Is it okay my boyfriend plays to much yu gi oh (read for more info)?

My boyfriend is 31 but started playing yu gi oh when he was 30. At first I didn’t mind it because it was something that he enjoys playing and it still is. He usually goes to tournaments and he has made many friendships there. But lately I feel like it’s been to much for example he use to go 1 day or 2 days tournament during the week for 3-4 hours now is 3 days including the weekend which is our time. Saturday and Sunday we usually stay at a hotel and enjoy our time together but he goes to yugioh at 1-4ish on Saturday and now he made it a thing that he wants to go on Sunday too. I been nice and have waited in car while he in the tournament.

now his phone stays blowing up on discord because he has a group chat and just last Sunday he wanted To go in morning to a tournament but nobody went so he wanted to go at 6-10. He knew I didn’t want him to go but I’m not going be controlling and I told him “ if you want go then go but I’m not going stay in car “ well he left and I stayed at the hotel. Yeah I was upset and thought he probably stayed but he ended up leaving the tournament at 9:30 after we watch a movie and on Monday we left home ( we don’t live together ). I just feel like we haven’t been out on a date or spending time doing activities rather than at the hotel during the week. But he always making me feel I’m complaining and arguing. I’ve told him billions of times I’m communicating with you but he says I’m arguing.

read for more info? I WILL... It's his passion let him do his thing. Don't stay in the car or at a hotel like a tourist having nothing to do. Where are your passions? Your hobbies? Waiting in the car sounds like a hellish few hours, or sitting on a hotel bed waiting, NOPE. Fuck that.

Then again, this is coming from me, an introvert who does like her alone time. We don't go on fancy dates often. But if you want to go on a date, skip that 2-3 hour movie you'd watch together and use that time to go out on a date with him instead.
