I am in high school. There is a girl that I like with the values that I am looking for. She likes me but I don’t think she’s decided if she’s old enough to be in a relationship yet. She’s rejected every boy that I have heard of that has talked to her, but has treated me the complete opposite. Her friends all know who I am. Should I continue pursuing things or wait a year or two? I really don’t want to screw things up with her.

At your age, you should have other worries than to pursue a girl. Your education should come first and be your only worry, at least until you get your degree.

Pursuing a girl or being in a relationship with a girl will only have negative effects on your education. You cannot give 100% on both fronts simultaneously. The one or the other will suffer from it and most likely, your education will come last.

It is my belief that you should not pursue that girl for the time being because you should prioritize your future, not to destroy it.

Once you are out of school and finished your education, it will be time enough to get into trouble with girls.
