What is the highest dating standards that you've seen?

It's important to have standards for yourself and for a potential mate for the long-haul. But there are some standards that reach the level of ridiculousness.

A friend's sister had a litteral document containing a list prerequisites of any potential dating partner and the 2 that stood out to me was: 1.) Salary of $100k or more and 2.) Ability to tie a French braid.

Met a guy recently who had the most ridiculous standards I have ever seen. He wanted: A virgin, someone who was studying or was going into a professional career but was a 'feminine' field (e. g., nurse), had 10/10 good looks and I mean model standards (e. g., 50kg, slim, slim face and pure natural), good looking feet, who exercises 5 times a week, someone who would do as he says without question, had no male friends.

He pretty much wanted the stereotypical 'house wife' but smart kind of woman who was also a pushover/doormat for every one of his wishes.

Maybe to some this is not ridiculous, but to me who is in a society full of women within different roles... I was shocked. But BIG red flags when he said he wanted someone who would do whatever he said without question.

I get virginity for religious reasons, but there are some people who want a virgin for the stake of "wanting to be the first to claim a woman". Nothing wrong with being a virgin, moreso wrong for ill reasons such as control or insecurity.

99% of the time they are just making demands for a fool to follow, as they don't know any better. They want to sugar their ego with a trophy husband/wife.

So, I pay the biggest attention to attraction and personality. I like them handsome, loyal, sweet, strong-minded and ambitious.

My standards are pretty simple: be kind and genuine, be sweet and loving, don’t be fat, and don’t have a high body count. I think a lot of men would agree.

Meanwhile, a lot of women be like “minimum requirements are 6 ft+, 6 figure salary, 6 pack abs, 6 inches+”. 2 of those 4 criteria are purely genetic and can’t be controlled
