Anonymous(36-45)+1 yThese comments are depressing, and remind me why I keep to myself on here, and the internet in general. As a black woman, we're deemed as the most "unattractive" race in terms of dating.
And yes, I know that doesn't apply to everyone. But unfortunately, from a dating perspective, we tend to have a harder time finding partners compared to women of other races because of all the negative stereotypes associated with black women. Even if said stereotypes don't apply to you, because you're black, most men still view you that way.
I will admit I am attracted to and usually date outside my race. However, the feeling isn't always mutual because white men are not attracted to me, or they do not want to deal with flack from their friends and/or family for dating a black person.
I recall a guy I used to know in college that was attracted to and tried to date black women! But he couldn't take them home because both his parents were very racists, to the point they told him if he ever brought a black girl home they would disown him and not help support him. So of course, he wound up marrying a white woman. I'm sure there are other guys that fall into that category- not by choice, but out of fear of being judged by their family and peers.

Those that I know tend to have a strong character and personality and I can imagine that for a number of men, those are assets that they have a hard time to deal with. Men have always felt that they should be the more dominant party in a couple and not the other way round. This is particularly true for those men that are introvert and don't really dare to speak out their minds or opinions.
However, I also think that a number of men are uncomfortable with women of a different ethnicity, let alone of another color. Could it be because they are not comfortable facing judgment of others? Perhaps but I rather think that it is more of a society thing rather than a personal one.

to sue, but non black are "also strong" the difference is a white won't repeatedly accuse me "thats just kuz im black"
+1 yYeeeeahhh look….. white people as a group have this weird relationship with black people.
A good number of them get it right and know “Dude, they’re just people.”
A strangely large number of them think the men are super idiotic wakandans with super strength and prone to violence and poverty genetically.
and that the women are loud, brash , angry and intimidating.
and strangely have a lowered level of empathy when it comes to issues of social that if the situation was applied to a white person, they would have empathy.
Its not all white people, mind you….. But we’re only 13% of the population, they make up 59%. Not even half of them need to be weird to make all of us experience that weird racial behavior, so we have to have a Taoist view of white people.
expect everything and nothing at the same time.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yWhen ever a woman uses the word 'intimidated' swap that word with 'unattracted'. Regardless of age, religion, color or creed, men are not attracted to masculine traits in females, or anything that removes peace and tranquility from their lives. As for asking women out, if women wanted that to continue unhindered, they should have stopped placing barriers in front of men's ability to do so freely. Men now have to consider false allegations, street harassment, new laws, being labelled a creep, being filmed and appearing on TikTok to name a few.
I saw a video where a woman threatened to report a man for approaching her, but when a more attractive man did so, she had no issues at all and shook his hand...

That bias in this case is that when you look at someone there is an internal feedback of how much you have in common. This is why say, two bald guys will click easily and why friends tend to share similar traits.
While not the most important indicator, race of course plays into it. I will assume I have more shared experiences with someone of my race. It is hard not to.
And so to me it isn't that black women are intimidating but rather that I am less secure in where we will get along making it initially more difficult. Oh I know perfectly well there won't actually be much difference and anything that was interesting to someone else is as likely to interest her. But that is a learned insight.10 Reply- 1K opinions shared on Dating topic.
+1 yFor me, I somewhat am, but it wouldn't hold me back from asking them out. If the chemistry is there and I think we're compatible, then I am going for it.
I think the biggest things that would be on my mind is wondering if I am even her type and what being around her family would be like. I've had black friends, but I lack experience in being in situations where I am the only white dude amongst a group of black people.00 Reply Intimidated by their high testosterone level? maybe but most just don't find them attractive.

If a man wants you he will approach you. If he doesn't approach he don't want you in particular, and most of the time race is not the factor

We have a stereotype of being overweight and that's a big no no for white guys in particular.
Maybe some guys would be, but for the most part, no. Men typically are not intimidated by women.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yBecause lots of white men don't find black women attractive. It's also considered shameful by many whites for a white person to be with a black person and many white people view it as disgusting.
