You should keep your option open when you’re dating in my opinion. Especially as women. We shouldn’t chase after one man and create this idealistic image of them in our head and then break down when they don’t match the image. The man we commit to eventually has to earn that position.

No its not wrong to talk to someone else, but, the person shouldn't be trying to line someone else up, in the event something happens to the existing relationship.

If that is what the person is doing it for, then they were never committed to the relationship fully.

I don't think it is, because after all you're still looking. But it could be seen as there isn't as much commitment, because you have a plan B or maybe they think that THEY are the plan B and nobody likes being second best.
