What if his other traits were that he was intelligent, friendly, loyal, compassionate, hard working but on the flip side being autistic occasionally he might say repeated words or phrases, he might wash his hands more frequently

I dunno. Presumably if I'm already in a relationship with him, I'm not gonna break up with him if he tells me he has Aspergers. He'd be the same person before and after he told me, and if I loved him before then I'd love him after.

If I knew he had Aspergers before we ever started a relationship? Well, I don't know anyone with Aspergers, so I don't really know how I'd feel about someone who did. But it wouldn't be a deal breaker. If our personalities seemed compatible, I wouldn't let a diagnosis stand in the way.
