Would you date someone who lived in a van?

I am good friends with a lady who lived in her van for 5 years while she travelled and took various jobs. She doesn't live in a van now though. After her 5 year tour in the van she became a long haul truck driver. Sounds like a logical progression.
Depends upon why. By choice because a dingy 400 sq. ft. studio around here is over $2K/month? Seems reasonable.

I'd be concerned about her safety and where she showers (you said van, not RV).
Usually at the gym.
Depends on the person and the situation…
You can sleep in a van. Maybe even have some kind of hotplate hookup so you can do minor cooking in a van. But there are no showers, toilets or washing equipment in vans, so they are not "homes." They are rolling "rooms."
For someone very young who wants to see the country, this might be a viable set up for a short period of time. But for a full-fledged adult, I think this would be a sorry state of affairs, and a clue that something was off with a person living this gypsy lifestyle.
I like roots and a roof, a garden and lovely things around me. Just not that free of spirit. Wouldn't work for me.
I watched this film where the trunk opens and releases a curtain to surround you and the massage head sprayer thing connects to the sink to turn it into a shower lol

Love is love & a date is a date & I would date someone that lived in a van as long as it was clean & if that van was a luxury van they would earn more bonus points.
In the past, sure, if she still did... she'd have to be really hot and full of stories. If she spent 3 years in a van just chilling in the Walmart parking lot not so much.
Maybe a long time ago when I was much younger, but now I really enjoy the amenities my home with husband and kids affords me.
Sounds like they travel too much for my liking so probably not. However if its because they’re homeless then yes I’d date them and occasionally provide them with a more comfortable place to sleep
It all depends on how they got there, was it by choice or was it by chance, because there are a lot of people who are comfortable living in a van because they want to, either to save for something better or to live free and without responsibilities, while some live their because shit happens either knowingly or unknowingly and they got nowhere to live
It would depend on why they were living in the van.
Because they live in California
My husband lived in a motor home when I first met him.
Sure, if he lives in a van down by the river.
If he looked like this (I'm not even kidding):
I have never tried that, so I don't know if I would like it.
Probably I would prefer any home.
People who live in vans get around a lot, aren't tied to a stupid mortgage, and are generally free-spirited, so yes! :D
Now, as for someone who lives in a caravan, ah HELL NO!
Absolutely. That's the kind of life I want to live... at least for a few years, before I settle down. But I've always loved the idea of a campervan for trips with family
Sure. Who let the dogs out 🐶
I don't have a problem with them living in a van if it's by choice (even though that choice is weird to me), or if they've had a run of really bad luck. But by the same token. If they're living in a van not by choice, maybe dating shouldn't be a very high priority. Her and i could be friends.
Depends why they are living in a van. Do the live in a van to travel Across country or do the live in a van because they a bum?
I live in a van. In fact I am responding to this question from it now. I have got women lined up outside all the time waiting to get some time with me. It is a big van. I am a traveling tattoo artist.
If she was mentally stable and non-addicted, yes.
Sure, right now you can't really be too picky in this economy
As long as it's not a. Ess and she has a place to shower regularly I would
* a mess
I have, she was in a van but she loved in with me, needless to say, we made the best of it, kinda miss her
I don't think I could honestly, I wanted to say yes at first but cozing up in a fan just doesn't sound right as compared to in a home
Do you get paid by the site to ask all these questions every day? Because you don't really seem to care about people's opinions/actual feedback, considering the fact you usually ignore most comments
where she lives has no bearing on her as a dating prospect
she's more likely to judge dudes on where they live
It only matters if it's "down by the river".
Absolutely. The economy is such a mess I cannot say I blame them.
I want to live in a van too so we can live there together
Definitely. I only care about if they're an amazing person, I don't care if they were living in a van or even living with their mother
I wanna live in a van down by the river.
I'd go fishing every day.
Yes, and if the vans a rockin than don't come a knockin.
Np and if he still did, As long as he didn't mooch off my pockets, It would be okay. I would need to see how long though and what his intentions are though future wise.
Never met someone who lives in a van so I'm not familiar with that type of lifestyle. Not sure if I could date someone who lives in a van.
I have always loved loved earthy girls. I know I'm a guy but that's my feeling towards girls in vans.
As long as it’s clean and doesn’t freakin stink in there
Depends if she’s cool yeah
If she didn't have beliefs, behave, or say things that indicated red flags, I'd be fine with it.
According to that picture, it's a yes. Only the two of us always romantic. It's like dates everyday
It's not a safe lifestyle in this day and age
that sounds like fun...
No it’s not my lifestyle
I've Dated Homeless Woman, before. And vice versa..
Of course! I love outdoorsy chicks!
Maybe... if it was down by the river.
I'm afraid not.
its fine for me
💯 ❤️
