Guys, how do you feel seeing other guys hitting on women you're interested in?

Part of me feels predatory and slightly embarrassed to be another guy hitting on the woman that's always getting hit on at some sort of event or party and I shut down after seeing a guy successfully hit on a woman I wanted to talk to before I've gotten a chance, I just won't try anymore.

As a guy trying to navigate dating there's so much to overcome just to be baseline that society expects you to have figured out by a certain age. I think part of the anxiety comes from people watching me hitting on a woman regardless if she shows interest back and feeling solely responsible for the interaction. In short there's a ton of pressure and obligation.

It's just part of it right? Like it happened in highschool, it happened a lot in college. It still happens. It happens in the grocery store too though. So it's a part of life for me personally. It's happened before and it's going to happen again. That's how guy's shoot their shot. I'm not going to get mad about it because how else are you going to talk to a woman you find attractive? If you don't approach us then we'll never notice you. That's why I don't get offended by it. Now if you want to stand out from the others doing it then be yourself, don't just do the same shit everyone else is doing either. Be unique. But most of all be sincere, be confident

Not always lol. It's not always sunshine and roses. It can get creepy or damn near assault depending on who's doing it.

You know, we get hit on a lot at parties. But most of the time, it's the less interesting guys who hit on us, so don't worry too much. Usually I'm happy to talk with a nice guy instead

I only ask cause friends have told me they feel preyed upon when there’s multiple guys trying to hit on them at a party so in the back of my mind I’m just trying to not pool myself in with those guys. That said I wouldn’t describe myself as nice.

Yes they're right, especially when the guys are really annoying and don't really care about who you are

I think there’s a connotation with nice so I try not to put myself in that camp but I treat everyone with respect.
