Went out for food with my boyfriend as soon as he seen his family he wanted to leave?

I went out for some food with my boyfriend he seen a few people he knew and as soon as he saw them he wanted to leave almost like he was embarrassed of me. We wasn’t even 20 mins in the place and within 5 mins of seeing them we left after another 5 mins because he was insisting he wanted to go. None of them said hi to me expect one guy and his own blood brother didn’t even say hi. We left as he was paranoid they was starting which clearly they wasn’t they was doing their own thing. I felt so embarrassed as he wanted to go to another food place instead I said no I know all I need to know now and Have just deleted him off all socials it’s like he was embarrassed he was with me and didn’t want to show me off? Have I done the right thing my mind is in overdrive right now

1. Maybe he has a conflict with them, feels great animosity, and doesn’t want to have more conflict.


2. Maybe his family caused problem with his last girlfriend and he doesn’t want to take that chance again.


3. Maybe he is mentally I’ll and a bit paranoid.


4. Maybe his family revealed things about him to his last girlfriend that caused him some distress.


5. Maybe he has another girlfriend and doesn’t want his family to know that he is dating someone else.


I could continue, but you should get the idea that there are many possible reasons to explain this behavior.

Yes very true! He said he didn’t want his cousins to start taking pictures and stuff off us but I explained to him if his family were there with their mrs they wouldn’t even care they would still stay in the same place so why does he care? He said he didn’t like the way we was sat and stuff the seat positioning. I just don’t know if he’s being for real or. I am a different ethnicity to him and I did say to him maybe it’s better if you find someone from
Your own kind. He’s like no no I can be with who I want to be with I told him it’s weird because it’s like I’m a secret and he needs to sort it out if he see’s a future with me then if not stop stringing me aslong with words and false promises because I’m not on any little boy shit. He replied back saying girl is calling me a little boy I said yes I am. And I responded with an emoji ‘🤷🏽‍♀️‘ << that one. Haven’t heard from him since I figured out he kinda insecure after the whole drama with his family.

No you made an awful discission. He didn't like those people, they made him super uncomfortable and wanted to get away from them. Then as the awful girlfriend you are you dump him because he wants to get you and him away from people he dislikes greatly. What is wrong with you?

The thing is he does not dislike him? So I don’t get it he’s really close with then he just didn’t want to be seen with me

Without knowing their relationship you shouldn't make that assumption. There can be a lot of animosity in some families.

Well you don't bring girls into family until you are sure you want to commit. So you certainly haven't reached that point. Or you fail to meet some of the family standards. Such as not belonging to the right religion or something like that.

Maybe he wasn't being embarrassed about you. Maybe he was embarrassed by them. It's possible that they would put him down for being with a beautiful woman like you
