Speaking from personal experience as an autistic person, I struggle with connecting with people who have BPD. Not because I didn’t try, but I never knew how to appropriately handle their emotional outbursts when negative things would happen, and I would often critique their impulse decisions in a way that they didn’t like, though that was mainly because the person in question adopted a puppy on a whim and ended up giving it away after a month when they couldn’t potty train him. I don’t know that they’re necessarily the best to mix if only because it can be a bit of a struggle.
I don't know about that specifically, but autistic people can form loving and lasting marriages and relationships. My girlfriend has been with me for almost 5 years, and she has ADHD. So autism and ADHD can mesh if the people are right for each other. I don't think the relationship will last, just because most don't. At the same time, I don't think that what either of you has will dictate the success or failure of your relationship.
Your then girlfriend? She's an ex. Move on please
