Apparently a swimming pool date makes two person more close physically than they feel on regular date. (And more open)

Since you are in less clothes or clothes which will reveal your body (also because of the water makes clothes wet and it can be seen how it will reveal one).

You will be in open air and more light since the date is a swimming pool. (Think half naked people in open air in open where they can see each other closely. )

There are so many reasons that's always a good move. You get her practically naked which means she's going to get used to being way more vulnerable around you than when she's wearing regular clothes.
