Though if she asks me to walk straight next to her or to wear shoes with thick soles then it's not acceptable.

All in all I'm glad my girlfriend is shorter. This way she can wear high heels if she likes and I'm still taller.

My OH is nearly the same height as me, I'm 5'9", she's 5'7". Tbh I'd prefer her a little shorter but it's not a big deal. I think I wouldn't want someone who was 5'9" or taller
