Surely you wouldn’t make it obvious to the rest of the staff. He certainly won’t want anyone to know. Don’t expect favoritism. This could lead to water cooler gossip. Do you want to be THAT woman?


Are either of you married or single with kids? Imagine if YOU were to lose your job. Imagine having to explain a sudden job loss. There is only one JOB reference your boss will give you to perspective employers.


You DEFINITELY do not want him fearing for his job.

Some bad possibilities:

His wife murders you.

He murders you to keep his wife from finding out.

His wife finds out & demands that he fires you. He will fire you.

His wife shows up at work to tell everybody you're a slut.

If you work in an industry where job references are still important, he could fire you and refuse to give you a good reference because his feelings are hurt by something that happened between you two.

He fires you just because he's tired of having to work with/around you.

If either has previously reached coitus with another person, the person that has had already married (maybe after registering marriage maybe without registering it).
