A person's ethnicity when choosing a partner is a personal choice. It means the person choosing that male/female prefers their potential partner to be of a specific ethnic origin based on their personal taste. As long as there is no racial hatred here, this is choice.

As for height, that again is choice. But that also goes for weight. Both are the same when it comes to preference, except society deems it normal to be picky about a man's height, but as unacceptable when a man prefers a woman of a certain weight.

To me? Height might if she is super, super short. Ethnicity does not at all to me. Looks, a little, like if she is obese.
