+1 yYes, because it would make me lose trust for her. How can you date my ex, it means you must of wanted him when he was with me.. so you were essentially laying in wait for us to breakup.. then for a close friend to take sloppy seconds from me I would just look down on her 🤣🤣

I have had a friend do that to me and I was upset by it simply because she knew me and his history together and still went for it anyways, and he left her for similar reasons I warned her about which is his severe trust issues and his need to act immature when his trust issues kick in. So it does depend on the ex.

u +1 yIf you had ever had a friend do that to you, then you would not hesitate to say that it is definitely wrong. If it doesn't make sense you, I cannot logically convince you to develop a sense of empathy.

+1 yMy friends are basically all married if they are the same age as me and if she was childless, not married and dating him, I would be happy for them both and would probably cook them some healthy food and make them some salad.

+1 yWell I'll probably get a thumbs down for this, but I actually have dated a friend's ex. Yes I know, shame on me and that wasn't my proudest moments. The thing is at first, my friends noticed that he likes me and she had already moved on from him. She told me he was an immature guy and I forgot what else she said. This was back in 2011. I liked him too but I wasn't so sure and I didn't make a move. Plus I wanted to consider her feelings first. She told me she had a new boyfriend at the time and she is over it. Still I didn't ask him out yet and didn't make a move. We all had a group outing and she encouraged me to ask him out and nervously I did. We only dated for three months and that shit didn't last anyways. He did flirt with my friend in front of my face. Again not my proudest moment and I was 21 and did a dumb thing. Just wanted to me open and honest about it. Never again. Just don't do it. I have no sympathy for myself because of what I did and knowing what kind of guy he is. He isn't a bad guy, just wasn't right. Boy was I stupid, but learned from this.

+1 yDepends on the friend and the ex.
My first two ex-bfs, I would be mad at my friends because how could they be so stupid so as not to learn from my mistakes - and I'd be mad they're putting themselves at such risk. My first ex is a cheating coward with no career prospects. My second ex is a loser, completely unreliable, and a manchild in need of a second mother.
My last ex, depending on the friend, I can actually see being happy for both. My ex is a great woman, but she's not the right fit for me - she would be a great partner for someone, and she deserves a great partner in turn. If I knew both as friends, I'd be quite content.00 Reply - 4.9K opinions shared on Dating topic.
+1 ySo glad i dont do friendships anymore. This is why i just do acquaintances now. Everything is up for grabs lmao. I can't be mad at an acquiantance for doing this bullshit because there was no loyalty to begin with. But yea back in HS, i had friends who got with my exes. And i got with their dudes eventually as well. We were not into sharing nor that sister wives shit. Apparently, We just didn't give af about eachothers feelings as much as we thought. The way i see it, I did some things out of revenge. But for the most part, the guy liked me first. If I said no, he went for them. So if im with him later, thats on the girl for getting with what was initially gonna be mine. She knew it would circle back around 🤷āāļø Iāve never been a good friend. Never will be. So its best i dont do friendships

Dont get mad. Get even
2.5K opinions shared on Dating topic. No. If she's my ex, I don't care who she dates. The only reason I would be mad is if she left me for him/he poached her from me. Fortunately, that never happened to me.
But I did have friends date some of my exes after we had already broken up. One of my exes and one of my best friends actually got married a few years later and we remained really good friends.00 Reply369 opinions shared on Dating topic. My two best friends would never do that to me and one was in a situation where that couldāve happened. She shut it down and told me about it. I have had an ex close friend do that to me however and we are no longer friends. She went behind my back and the friendship dissolved. I mightāve entertained it if there was honest communication but the lying and hiding it was a huge nope from me. I felt more sad about it than angry tho, I thought she was a good person

My ex is broke. He is living version of Kramer from Seinfeld. He goes years without working, doesn't clean, barely cooks. He walks around in fantasy land getting into weird problems and has sex with different people. Anyone who takes him is gonna need to spend money!
00 Reply1.7K opinions shared on Dating topic. Yes it's a bad idea, you will just put strain on that friendship. There is plenty of girls, so skip the exes that your friends has presented to you and actually been together with for a while.

00 ReplyNo, why would I want to control a friend's life? I just wouldn't hang out with that friend at the moment she's gonna go out with my ex (online ex).
00 Reply569 opinions shared on Dating topic. I don't know. I don't think I would. I might get jealous and sad though, but I don't think it's wrong to date a friend's ex.

It would be awkward no doubt but they can date anyone they want as long as I am not asked to hang out with my ex because of it.00 Reply1.3K opinions shared on Dating topic. i won't mind if my friend dates my ex. because he's ex.
