If date ended with “keep in touch” “probably see you soon” “brilliant” is there a point arranging a second date?

Most girls probably won't ask for a second date, regardless of their desire, and it is the guy's responsibility to arrange a second date.

In this case. . . in my experience, "let's keep in touch" usually means "I hope I never, ever see you again!" But maybe she was nervous and her words came out wrong. I'm not optimistic that she wants a second date, but it doesn't cost anything to ask, right?

Rule of thumb, if a second date isn't planned at the end of the first, then it's over.
