Why would you want to date a bad guy?

There are tons of good guys who would make a very good husband and lover. So why do girls want bad guys? What sense does that make? They just give you heartaches from what I have seen.

Bad guys have lots of confidence, and they tend to be exciting and entertaining (because they're dangerous). And at first, the dangerous side isn't turned at the girl - it's turned at the world, and it makes her feel safe and powerful to see the guy go up against the world like that. Of course, eventually it gets turned towards her, and then things get ugly, but by then it's too late.

I believe because bad guy is considered more "manly". And many females subconsciously prefer manly men.

I think it's because they're fascinated by a guy who is capable of dominating other men physically and sexually, and many women are willing to put other issues aside for the opportunity to have a relationship with a very macho guy who is demonstrably stronger than the majority of men.
