Should I get back on dating apps?

OK let’s talk about pros and cons.

Pros:

- I hate leaving the house
- I work from home
- I only want to date Arab guys and Arabs are not the majority here
- I’m bored (yes. That’s a pro)
- I met one of my exes on an app before

Cons:
- My ex was weirdly obsessed with his mother (although he was very very good looking tbh)
- So much ghosting!!! (My poor self esteem)
- People say a lot of these guys are married
- There are a lot of weirdly sexual guys on there nothing wrong with being sexual but there’s a time and place for it. Don’t tell me you want to suck my feet the first min we talk
- Rejection (I know it’s part of life but I got rejected a lot because of my religious beliefs and once cause of my looks)

I will almost always advise against the apps in most cases. I’ve met people who have had great experiences (even gotten married, I’ve been to a tinder wedding lol), so I won’t knock it completely. On the other hand I’ve met far more individuals including myself, who had no success in the apps, also experienced ghosting, never meeting a serious person, the list goes on. The pros rarely work in your favor on the apps, but it’s not to say you can’t try. I think the biggest qualm is your low self esteem, like can you risk another blow to it?

I say yes, only because of you only wanting to date Arabs, which is very specific and hard to find in person. Usually, I’m very much against dating apps.

Thanks I guess I understand people are attracted to different people so I’m ok with accepting not everyone will find me attractive.

He didn’t outrightly reject me on my looks. He asked to see photos of me, then he asked me about my religion. When I answered he unmatched so I assumed it was my looks lol.

Although I accept it, it still takes a toll on your self esteem especially with countless ghosting in the mix.

Yeah dating sites suck for that, you match with someone and talk but they treat the situation like it's a game rather than a conversation with a real person

I feel like meeting people in person is better but it's still good to do online dating cause you never know, it might work out

I used to watch on the ID channel "investigation discovery" about cyber crimes, how a psycho lurks behind the screen and create accounts on social media and dating sites to attract girls to his trap...
After watching some real life stories and crimes remake, i came to a conclusion that it's not worth it, especially for a girl, or she have to be very careful, remember that your only seeing and hearing what he wants you to see and hear, you don't know their true intentions, if they are real of just all lies to attract you to his trap...
Watch out sweet alyssa rapunzel, you have a good heart but i know that you're smart too, always think before being drifted by your heart and feelings...
