How much do guys fear getting cheated on, if they are very good looking?

I knew a very attractive guy who tried very hard to date an unattractive women that had no interest in dating at all. Makes me think he wanted somebody who wouldn’t cheat.

Here is the truth on the matter. Ugly people cheat too. Good looking people sometimes don’t think of themselves as good looking. Sometimes ugly girls or guys are incredible people. If you date only based on looks you will lose every time. Instead of looking at people as good looking or ugly we should look at their personalities, their behaviors, their belief systems…. These are much more important then looks.

They are a lot better at hiding it because they want to look tough, but fear of rejection or abandonment is just as strong in them as it is in women.

Apparently some do. I think it's silly- a very good looking guy will never have trouble getting another girlfriend should one cheat. He still needs to be careful who he marries, though.

I think it was my first or second relationship is when it all came to me and that is you cannot make somebody love you

When you get into a relationship and you think to yourself okay this is getting serious can I commit to this and then the thought of what happens if she breaks your heart and in that moment you have to be honest with yourself and tell yourself you are the only person you can control that person can walk away anytime they want they can do anything they want anytime they want
And then you have to ask yourself are you willing to take that risk

So for me I don't know about anybody else anytime I get into a relationship that's one of the first things I think of but then if I say I'm willing to go for it and risk that feeling of being hurt I let it go right after that because if you hold on to that feeling you don't get to experience the whole relationship you're always worried about something that's not the best way to have a relationship at all so I think about it once and I let it go

I think that we are all smarter than we allow ourselves to be we're caught up in the society emotions and feelings and thoughts that are half backwards anyway

I believe anytime you're in a relationship when you communicate when you have good communication and if you pay attention the person is always talking to you no matter if you're talking or not I don't know if you know what I mean by that but anyway in a relationship if something is going wrong they're going to tell you either verbally
Or body language or just slippage of the tongue but you will know if somebody's cheating on you you'll know that something is wrong because they express it without even using words sometimes but you have to pay attention

So something like that comes up all you do is you confront that person and say okay with whatever their answer is don't blow it up into a big deal and then just pay attention to everything else that happens because they will tell you again if they are without them even knowing it

I don’t think it’ll ever matter how good looking a person is. If their counterpart wants to cheat, cheating will happen.
trust, no trust. If anyone wants to cheat, they’ll make it happen because they’ve already put that intention out there.

but I think if there’s a back of mutual trust, respect and understanding and even confidence, some people will.

I guess it's complicated. I've seen people having attractive partners and cheating on them with unattractive or less attractive people or attractive people being faithful and unattractive being unfaithful. Attractive people might have more opportunities but I feel like there is no rule. Some are cheaters and some aren't and have values. I am considered very attractive but I am very insecure about myself. My ex was a handsome man 30+ and I was his second woman. Then the guy after him was ugly and had a lot of women because of his confidence and talk.

Maybe, he just really liked her personality or found her attractive to him. i don’t think looks make much difference to cheating. I know unattractive women cheaters but the reason for cheating is just different they seem to cheat because they feel insecure, attractive people might cheat because of too much opportunity.

A guys attractiveness has zero to do with this and everything to do with the quality of woman he's with. I'll never understand why some women think just because he's attractive he doesn't fear being cheated on (at least until he learns whether he's got a keeper or not).

I am getting the feeling the unattractive girls feel they are not in the same league with me, and highly insecure towards me.

I think no matter how attractive he is, it depends on his past relationships even in the childhood.

But the confident ones will never afraid of something like that, so is the one who trusts his girlfriend

Trust me the ugly ones cheat the most. They have low self esteem and so they self sabotage.

When you're good looking on average you tend to be used to saying "no thanks" which makes loyalty easier.

(But really no one is above cheating some are just far more loyal)
