- Obviously not everyone yells or has been yelled at. I’m just asking those who experienced it 😊
2.6K opinions shared on Dating topic. I have a tendency to get loud when I think I'm not being heard. It can sound like I'm yelling.
Being interrupted in the middle of a sentence can also trigger me. It makes me feel that I am invisible, being disrespected, or not heard.
If a stranger does it to me, I return the favor by walking away. But there are occasional instances when my wife does that to me and I have a brief outburst. I calm down immediately, though, and we continue conversing.
She also has a tendency to not put things back where they belong. There are times when I point something out and, instead of saying something like "Oh, I'm sorry, I spaced out", she gets upset and brings up something I did wrong in the past. That upsets me. But we don't get into long shouting matches. We don't call each other names or walk away. We always calm down, talk it out and apologize.10 Reply

+1 yI feel mad at myself and I wish it didn't happen but it did.
Me and the misses had a yelling match this morning
It all because of stress beyond your wildest imagination. If you only knew and if I could really open up to someone face to face
But we both said some pretty nasty shit to each other today. We never had a fight this in the whole time we been together.
We made up, but it's not forgotten

Last year when a guy invited me to a concert , had no clue his friends were going, they had no clue I was going and he ignored me the whole entire time from the time we got fast food before the concert and right into the concert. Didn’t say one word to me. I decided to call him out in front of his friends because he was acting like a jerk and his friends did side with me and they basically said he’s an asshole for treating me the way he did.

u +1 yThis morning, my fiancée and I were rafting on an unspoiled river in northeast Florida and we passed with reach of a fallen tree that was being used by a large turtle to sun itself. Sh started to reach her hand out towards the turtle, as if she was going to pet it, and I yelled for her to yank that hand back right now! Turtles have a ferocious bite and it is one of their few means of defending themselves.

+1 yHappened just a few days ago. My SO yelled at me for doing something that I didn't do. I yelled back and then walked away.
I've learned not to continue to fight with her. When she believes something, there's no way you can change her mind about it.
00 Reply 671 opinions shared on Dating topic. She yelled at me often. She made excuses for it; it was her upbringing, she just needed the right kind of therapy, or it was because I had to work hard, or because I needed to make more money. I put up with it for twenty years. Toward the end her anger was such that she humiliated me in front of family and I felt she would abuse me if I was incapacitated. At that point I filed for divorce.
After a time I found my current SO. We have never once yelled at each other no matter how stressful things get.

+1 yLast time I recall was about 1994, I was living with my future ex-fiance and I got a really nasty cold. Even without colds, I have to do a good bit of nose blowing and hocking loogies (I've been dealing with this shit ALL MY LIFE! At least everybody else gets to go home!! I'm stuck with it!!) so, when I'm sick, it's about 20 times worse!! We'd been together 3 years and this was the first time she'd ever had to deal with me going through this and she got REALLY pissed at me for it, like it's MY fault and it's something I LOVE doing and we had a very short screaming match for a minute and it nearly came to blows! We never fought again the rest of the 10 years we were together.

+1 yI challenge anyone to buy a distressed 125 year old house, diy renovate the whole thing one or two rooms at a time, and live in it while you're renovating it, and not get into at least a few yelling matches.
At the end of the day we worked through what we fought about, but it can be quite stressful at times.

+1 yi yelled. she almost started crying. she walked away and i felt bad and apologized later.
i promised to take her to breakfast at my college which i guess was special for her, but i failed to mention that i'm not a morning person LOL. so she wakes me up and i fucking am not having it. pretty stupid i know
10 Reply 14.3K opinions shared on Dating topic. I can't think of a time when that's EVER happened (me yell at them).
When they've yelled at me? I think by that point I was done with her. So it didn't matter whether she yelled, talked, or grew mushrooms in her asscrack. I wasn't giving a hoot anymore.
I'm not in the habit of yelling or tolerating yelling. There are much better ways to get your point across. If it has reached the point where you feel you have to yell at me then it's went much to far.
10 ReplyI've never yelled at my wife. We've been angry. We've exchanged words. But I've never yelled at her.

+1 ySon was going to job interview without deodorant and he stank to high heaven. He went back to his apt and washed up. Lord! I bought him some deodorant next day. He was out he said. Humans need deodorant or we smell like wet dogs. He accepted the deodorant and hopefully will use it.
00 Reply I never have. I can only recall one time I really yelled at someone, a stupid driver on the Interstate continuously changing lanes, almost hit me.

It was a rather one-sided love on my part. And by the time I finally realized it, I was thousands in debt and one day I finally calmly told her that I was done giving her money. She immediately began arguing (it's worth noting she was kinda strung out on pills and 3 days of no sleep) she wasn't having it. Screaming and accusing me of shit and so I yelled back. She began hitting while she screamed and because I still loved her, I just let her until she finally calmed down.
