Sup bro. Okay first and foremost, you should not assume that you can "make her yours" from the get-go. That's a lot of pressure and can come off as creepy. So when you start a conversation, just treat her like a normal human being you're trying to get to know a bit better, and not like someone you want to make into a possession. The best approach is probably something simple and low-key like "hi, I think I've seen you on the bus before. I thought you were pretty cute so I figured I'd come over and say hello."
