Are you intimidated by greater husband/wife material?

If you're single and come across someone who clearly appears to be a greater spouse than you, are you intimidated by this? Would you try to confront or pursue?

I don't feel bad when I see a girl more attractive then me - I feel inspired to make myself better so I can resemble her more.

When somebody out competes you - you can use that as a motivator to raise your level and become a better or more intelligent and powerful person or you can shut them down emotionally and hate them and then hate yourself and everyone around you too. Jealousy benefits nobody.

I know people who rejected my friendship out of jealousy and they lost out on many benefits they could have gotten if they had kept me as a friend cause I'm not a user, I always try to help people who benefit me.
