If you can't get a girlfriend, it's not because you are skinny. I expect that you know some skinny men with girlfriends.

What are you doing to meet women? How many unrelated women do you greet by name?

of course with a pretty boy face, a man's skinniness can be overlooked but those men are extremely rare

I'm a skinny guy I don't have confidence issues, not lack manners, not struggling financially, not lacking assertiveness, personality or interests/ hobby to be interesting. I don't get it. That's why I ask, I don't understand

No, what I'm saying is just because you think you have all of those boxes checked does not mean you actually do.

Probably. It is way more likely that your friends and family are lying to you out of pity than it is that everyone else in the world is just wrong. That is actually something I see quite often. Someone will be in their 20s or 30s and can't hardly get a date, and their family will just be coddling them and making excuses when their problem is glaring and obvious to everyone else in the world.

That's a tough one. The people who thrive in the dating world (not just the number of dates they're getting, but actually having access to good, marriage worthy partners) or that way because they had honest parents who taught them how to be likable. So when you have a family that has low standards and/or lies to you, it screws things up. Maybe you can try a dating coach, but ideally you can go to a blunt, but well meaning and successful old person who can give it to you how it really is.

Work or church more likely. Bar dwellers aren't likely to be successful

Also, gaining a bit of muscle wouldn't hurt your chances. Not unlike people who are overweight would increase their chances by losing some.

Yes. I feel most people perceive/see someone that they think is a skinny guy being successful in dating when really his actually lean with muscle. I already put 2/3kg recently. But ik I won't put more for another 2-5 years until my metabolism continues dropping.
