Would you say that beauty is really in the eye of the beholder? For example, if you see someone who you and many other people would rate as a 10, would you say that there would really be someone out there who would rate them as low as a 0-3?

Yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Not everyone is going to find that person who is a 10 attractive

for example some women think Henry Cavill is more attractive than Ryan Gosling and some women believe vice versa

however no non-virtue signaling woman believes Danny Devito or Peter Dinklage is more attractive than either Henry Cavill or Ryan Gosling

same applies to men. Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift are on similar attractiveness levels and beauty in the eye of the beholder makes sense for either but both are clearly more attractive than Oprah and beauty is NOT in the eye of the beholder

Yes and no. We as a society choose what beauty is. If we didn't there would be no supermodels that we hold up as examples, as icons of beauty ( and we can talk about how much and influence plays a role in this but that's another conversation🤣).

But also outside of that beauty is subjective. Everyone may tell you a person is unattractive. And according to conventional beauty standards they may fall short. But you might find that person attractive because thier personality or character.

E. g. I was always attracted to Drew Berrymore. By most beauty standards people would say she has a big jaw (and she kind of does). But because she funny and I like her personality. Her jaw is adorable to me. She wouldn't be Drew without it. I wouldn't change that about her for the world.

I think people need to realize people don't look for perfection in others. But we as a society judge people physically based on societal ideals.

I do think it is. We all have different preferences and physical features that we find attractive or unattractive.

I had a friend who used to say that nobody is ugly. She believed that there would be at least 1 person who would find the other person attractive. I agree with her.

Of course it is, and it need not be as extreme as 10 or 3. I see lots of lists of the "Most Beautiful Women" on the planet and most of the time I think a good number of them are average at best, and I nearly always can say I see prettier girls on the beach on a typical day in July or August.

i don't believe there is any single person that everyone in the world will agree on their level of beauty. so yes. beauty is in the eye of the beholder

No beauty is universal. Every where in the world people will agree that angelina joile or marylin monroe are beauties. Everyone likes a beautiful home or a beautiful flowers.
