Nothing is or can stop me from looking for a relationship. I am one of those who believes that we are better together. I do very well by myself but choose never to be alone.
Now as for your red flags…. Red flags for one person is excitement to another, obviously depending on the red flags. Bloody machetes in the trunk of your car is where I would draw the line lol. Don’t just assume these “red flags” will scare off all men, some men don’t scare easily.
Get out there and take a chance… life is a gamble. You have to play to win.

Actually, they’re pretty bad. I don’t drive and never owned my own place before. I’ve always lived at home. I know those a red flags and men would never accept those.

I respectfully disagree. So many people live at home with their parents these days… I consider that a red flag if it’s a guy but not a girl. I know, that sounds sexist, maybe it is but I’m old fashioned.
Not driving… is that a choice? I know a lot of city people who don’t drive, me on the other hand see driving as freedom. As a guy if I met a girl like you I would have no problems driving to pick you up. What you see as red flags are really not bad at all.

I live in a small town where I can drive. I’m just terrified and worry I’ll mess up a lot. However, I do try to get some practice in.

Practice makes perfect. Keep it up. Driving is a form of freedom. And worry never solved any problems, worry only creates problems.
But again, to the right guy you not driving shouldn’t be an issue.

Maybe because i don't trust women of this generation anymore, i don't even know what love means for them and when it expires, the things that i want are very rare and might be found in rural areas or villages and maybe somewhere in the dark ages haha...

I've been hurt twice, not planning on being hurt again or ecen trying unless god sends me an angel my way and makes a miracle so i think about it again...

Living at home and not having a driver’s license. I don’t drive.

Why not drive?
Both my sisters don’t drive. Both married.
My sister in law also don’t drive. She was still living at home when she met my brother. They are married over 20 years.

Certainly…we can control our own driving…
Most drivers are extremely responsible…if we let the 5% (I made up) scare the heck out of us and not able to live a better life…we really need to get out of that mindset.

So…how was it when your drove around your neighborhood?

It was alright. I ran into a bush with my stepdad’s truck. I felt so bad I wanted to cry 😭 I’ll admit I hate turns and parked cars on the side of the road.

I scraped the passenger door. It wasn’t bad but you can see the faint lines where the branches scraped his door. He wasn’t mad or anything. He was patient because he knew it was an accident. I just didn’t take a wide enough turn.

I would have to say…if anyone learning to drive not get into “accident” like that…they are made to be car racers.
What you did was normal…the thing is to learn to over come that fear.
Interesting enough…I just started to teach my kids…we spend weeks in their HS parking lot till they have good turns and feel the comfort of the car.
You might want to do that again in a parking lot.
Another way to do this is to take a few classes in a driving school. They have the extra break to stop the car till you have a better control of the car.

Once I learned to drive…I felt I have so much freedom.
If you live in your “failure” it will take away your confidence.
not everyone has to drive…, if you want to set that as your goal because you live in an area that you must drive…go for it so you don’t relay on others to take you places.

Also challenge yourself with something small that can build your confidence.
