People who haven't met any introverts are unobservant individuals, as there are more introverts than extroverts. Unfortunately, our society tends to relabel functional introverts as extroverts, which is far from the truth. That's like saying your sensitive, kind, considerate brother must actually be a girl. True extroverts often can't even comprehend introverts... believing people are either extroverts or dysfunctional, and people are only introverted when they choose to be dysfunctional.

I am an introvert and an extrovert my social battery runs out very fast and I get annoyed by people very easily unless You one of my good friends so i’m a lot more of an introvert and can go months without talking to people

I'm an introvert myself and yes I have met another introvert before but most of my friends have been extroverts oddly enough.
