How long into a relationship do people tend to say "I love you," and who usually says it first, Men or women?

My past relationships were all built around traditional gender roles and that means the man takes the lead in a relationship. I was usually the first to say "I love you," and all but one of them immediately said the same thing back to me.

The first time I ever said it we were going together for over a year. She said she loved me too. The next time I said it it was after 4 or 5 weeks. She said I was crazy.

@hello123456789 exactly. This is my. point. They say it for sex not because they love you. That's why naive women spread thinking the guy loves them when he was just wanting in. Once he gets it he's gone. I never believe a guy who says he loves me especially early on because I know they are only after one thing.

@BigDog1989 I realized something today. Men love money. That's what men love, because men are willing to put themselves in the most treacherous, dangerous, weakest situations in order to get money.

I was on the bus and there was a young man and he was selling cell phone stands so that you can prop up your cell phone to watch a video if you're in the kitchen and so on.

Surely, people saw him as weak and desperate but I had so much respect.

He was there really selling his product. Something I needed and ended up buying since he got off at my stop.

When I was watching him, it dawned on me. Men love money, period.

Men don't love women, naturally, because men are mostly not willing to be vulnerable with women.

They use having to sacrifice for their family and provide for them but really, it's about the money not the family.

How many wives are at home work widows because their husband's prefer to work. Adorning their family with material things is again them just loving their wealth.

Cheating and giving the mistress miney is because of their love of their wealth.

Men need sex ao they are willing to jump through hoops for it.

If women made no stipulations about it, they wouldn't bother making an effort.

As we can see with women who don't have any self respect.

What's love? For a man... amassing wealth.

I recently told the woman I like, that I like her. She had been telling me it, and I just didn't realize becaus when she said it back, i was like "why didn't you say so", and she says "I'm sure i have been". It took me 10 years to tell her that. The problem with telling her was the fear of rejection sure, but, more so because men are told that it's "weak" to tell your emotions, as you've mentioned here. I was damn glad I did though, hence why she had been saying it. I think I just needed confirmation.

But that's just "like". I'm talking about love. How does "like" evolve?

@BigDog1989 Yes, and it took me almost two decades to get there. I've stopped accepting less than I deserve. So you know what that means... I'm alone.

I've had more than my fair share and even though I'm just approaching middle age, but thankfully feel and look a lot younger, I've become really resigned to being without a romantic partner for the rest of my life.

I was married for over a decade and things have really changed out here. I'm not into the games, and FOMO and now that two, three and four timing is easier than ever with social media it's become the norm.

I am just investing in myself and my family. Before you, knownit, I will be in my grave. I would rather be happy alone than miserable with an abusing user.
