Honestly for my current boyfriend it was the contrast between how he treated me and the guy I liked/was talking to at the time treated me. They were friends. So story time.

We went to an event with another guy and I got off work the latest. Originally the plan was that we were going to meet at my boyfriend’s apartment to make it easy and all go together. The other guy was so impatient to get to the event that they all went without me and he told me to meet them there and he would pay for my parking. They took an Uber. It was a major event downtown in a city. Traffic around it was awful and I wasn’t used to driving in downtown ***. He kept calling me asking where I was, what was taking me so long, and how easy it should’ve been for me to already be there etc and got me so stressed out when I was already anxious. When he was off the phone both he and his other friend talked shit about me. It was so bad that my boyfriend walked to find my car in the traffic around the event, hopped in the car with me and helped me find parking a few blocks away. He was calming and helped me feel not overwhelmed. After the event the guy I liked had the audacity to ask me to drive him home, I wanted to leave him there tbh, but I wasn’t that much of a jerk. Needless to say I was pretty okay when that ended and it led to me and my boyfriend dating.

Has been in fights before, so I know he can protect me.

Has experience with women. So he knows how to talk to a woman and handle a woman.

Is confident. Doesn’t shy away from speaking his mind. This shows leadership. Or experience with Leadership.

Fitness. I’m always active and I expect my partner to also be fit. This will help me become aroused during late night hours. And this will let me know that this guy can RUN if need be.

Has a deep voice. This will also arouse me. As well as let me know that he had good testosterone levels. High Testosterone signals good health.

Is not lazy. Has always something going on. He’s either in a sport. A career or a hard worker. He doesn’t believe in REST.

He will stare you down and not give a single f-k. He will intimidate other men surrounding him.

Well I believe for me at least a major good impression would be her showcasing her empathy towards others. Like she gets along and is nice to kids and elderly people. Or even people she disagrees with she tries to treat them with kindness.

If she has a sense of humor that would be a great way to impress me or if she wants to try out some hobbies of mine or be exposed to some of my likes/tastes. But, even if we don't like all the same things if she has a nice personality that just clicks with me I believe that can go a long way. Hope some of my insights help at least somewhat!

Honesty from the start. Keen sense of style. (I don’t like a shabby dresser!). Sense of humor. Physically fit. Self actualized and motivated. Independent enough to not need me yet soft enough to need me. A good talker. Capable of seeing a disagreement as not being a fight or issue worth derailing a good day over. Comfortable in her own skin. Her own hobbies and interests yet able to share mine with me.

Respect others  Have confidence  Be protective (can be something really small like telling her to walk next to you so you are facing the street etc Be able to disagree with her on topics or desicions in a respectful way (dont suck up to her and dont disagree for no reason) Show her signs from the begginning like hug her tight when you see her, or ask what her future plans are. Talk about your morals.  Show her you have self discapline. If she ever asks to hang out you can say no sometimes. "No it'd Be fun but I have to work". Show her you can put your emotions a side and be logical when you need to.

Nothing. Actually. I once fell in love with someone, I had been in love with them for a few years or even now I still have some feelings for them. I haven’t seen him for ages. I’d say it’s not what they do that can keep you interested but once you truly truly fall in love with someone, the affection doesn’t really go away.
But if one just wants to date for date, for the feeling of being in love, then it’s actually just feelings and not love, then why you have to keep yourself interested in them

If they complimented me when I help families, women with kids, or my work ethic when no one else shows up... instead of ONLY acknowledging my presence and wanting to "get to know me" when as follows (because it really is like this). 1. When I get packages of new gear I order online. 2. When I get major withdrawals from my sportsbooks and go out to get some things. 3. When they see me coming and going out of the gym. Those are the only 3 times I even get ACKNOWLEDGED AT ALL.

I think the worse thing you can do is to try to be interesting or impressive.

I've known girls who have asked me if I am impressed or if I think they are interesting and I have just looked for the exit. Probably works the same in reverse. You are putting on a fake act. It is different if it is genuinely part of you.
