Yep. That is an inch taller than me so pretty much perfect height. My ex was actually about an inch shorter than me and that worked too. I prefer my partner be around my height. That is in a perfect world. If they are taller or shorter by more then that is okay. So 5'8" is definitely good with me. I wanna say my first boyfriend was around 5'10" or maybe even more than that. It works but I do like it when my boyfriend or girlfriend is close to my height.

I'm 5'2", pretty much everyone is taller than me, so as far as I'm concerned, long as you've got a couple inches on me you're completely in the clear, and even that's not a hard rule. I'd honestly be more chill dating someone that height than someone like 6'2"+ just because the height difference starts to feel weird to me when my head doesn't come past someone's shoulder. But again, not a hard rule, that's just what heels are for.

I married a 5'8 man. I've never seen height be a big deal in dating unless it's very significant height difference btwn the 2 people, or if it's a straight person who are insecure of their height. Online dating may be more nitpicky tho, I've just seen irl.
