People always say "Go to gym". There is no gym for your face or your height. You cannot change your face or height without surgeries. People say earn a lot of money. Maybe if I become a millionaire I will get a girlfriend. But earning that much money takes a very long time. I might finally become attractive to women when I'm 40. I'm already moderately wealthy, that's simply not enough to attract any woman.

The first trick is:
Stop referring to yourself as short and ugly.
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That is true. I have seen some very ugly guys with girls that were beautiful. What did she see in him? She saw something that others don’t see.
If it’s true you are less attractive then other men you need something else to win a girl over. You need personality, heart, courage….
You want to instantly win a girls heart? Crawl up a fire trucks ladder and pull her from a burning building. This is an exaggeration but you’ll never meet a girl home playing video games. Seriously though, volunteer your time to a hospital, animal shelter, or yes maybe the fire company. Be a part of the community and show the world that who you are.
Join a church, become a big part of the church outreach programs.
It is true that us less fortunate in the looks category have to work harder to get girls we still can. We just have to put ourselves out into the world to find them.

Why do you automatically assume I'm like this? I never played video games even as a kid. I am an engineer. I earn a very good income for my age. My father was the chief technical officer of a software firm. I am an accomplished classical mandolinist and I performed in my city's town hall when I was a kid. I only ever asked below average looking women who I already know personally. I don't randomly ask strangers to go on a date with me. Please stop assuming that because I'm single I must be some basement dwelling loser.

there's a reason why superheroes are conventionally attractive and supervillains are conventionally unattractive. you're automatically the bad guy for not being attractive enough in their eyes

How should I feel about this situation? It's not my fault I look like the way I do. It's my genes that made me this way. In my father's time just being wealthy could get you married. But my time is different. It is so hard to get married now with my appearance no matter how much money I make.

It's because now days the incomegaps between a female and a male has been smaller.
Today a girl can be independent and can live by her own.

But we don't want to die alone since we're social human beings, maybe have an offspring or two.
And when we wants to find a partner, we have preferences, both you and me and girls.

Girls are the feminine trait who still has an old biological preference to feel secure and protected from eventuall Predators. And it's here where this "tall guy" comes into picture. To save her from eventuall other "guy-pradator", maybe, I don't know.

Oh, she wants to wear heels too, it's only for herself, so she can feel less shorter to you, since you're this tall guy. But heels aren't a biological thingy.
