How can a 5'4'' man find a girlfriend?

I don't want to come off as insecure or desperate, but here goes. I am 25 year old man and I have never had a girlfriend. I have a healthy life otherwise, good job as an engineer, many hobbies (music, chess, linguistics). My colleagues and neighbours are respectful to me. However I have never had a girlfriend. Even girls shorter than me, say 5'2'' or lower don't want to date me. I'm not going to assume it's just because of my height. My face is also not particularly pleasant.

Should I give up in trying to find a girlfriend and focus on my career and hobbies instead? I feel that trying again and again to befriend girls and ask them out will only damage my self esteem. People often tell me that I should just let my parents find a bride for me (happens in my culture) but I have some problems with this. First, it will happen in my early 30s and I might feel regret over not experiencing a relationship in my 20s. Second, I feel that the bride might be forced to settle for me because she is running out of options and growing old herself. This means she might not be truly happy with me.

If you are ugly grow a beard and get your beard and hair done in a cool style that you see many other good looking guys in your area have.. then dress nice and have confidence.. hang around with girls you are not attracted to just to be friends so you can learn to talk to women better.. then move on to women you like if all else fails at least you tried.. and you do have your backup arranged marriage..

I am 156cm tall (5'1'') and never had problems finding girlfriends and eventually a wife who's 175cm tall. Maybe one of the few things we do different is that when we kiss before going to work she steps down the stairs so she can stand on her toes lol.

The plight of the short man is very real and very rough. You pretty much have two options: get a lot of money and/or get the leg-lengthening surgery that makes you taller.

My family is quite rich. I have a good job but I want to study further to change my career. Which means I will have to invest money on higher studies and start with a fresh career when I'm 27 or something. I want to find a wife who accepts me for who I am. I don't care if she is not conventionally attractive, but she should have similar interests as me. My brother in law is also 5'4" and he managed to get a late marriage at 32 and I think he never had a girlfriend in his 20s. But his wife is very similar to him in terms of hobbies, education etc. I would like something like that.

Okay well there really is such a thing as leg lengthening surgery and I am told you can gain three to four inches of height if you undergo the surgery. The bad news is that it takes quite a while for the full effect to occur and in the meantime I think you are in significant pain and pretty much disabled relative to walking. It's also really expensive but if your family has money perhaps it's not out of reach. I will not vouch for its efficacy in that luckily I don't need this surgery but I get why you might. Go ahead and Google it and if you can't find it I will post the URL here for you.

In the meantime, if you can do something to let women know you have money, they will flock around you. No matter how tall or short you are. Something like driving a really expensive car and going to really expensive restaurants and clubs and dressing and really expensive clothes. Will probably help all of this to a large extent. There are always women who have an inordinate interest in the money and in men who have money. Just remember that these women are not marriage material

I know about leg lengthening surgery. My brother (who has same height as me and has also never had a girlfriend) used to joke about getting one. There's no way in hell I'm going to do that. In my country that is only available for people with conditions such as one leg being shorter than the other. What I am trying to do is gaining weight, gym, trying to look nicer by wearing contact lenses and getting nice hair. The real trouble I have is that I look like a kid. I am very underweight. Girls have actually told me that I "look small". This is pretty much the opposite of what many women want in men. They like masculine looking men. If I start looking more mature and well built, things might improve. Women in my social circle actually seem to know that I'm from a rich family, and I do wear very nice clothes. But money can only take you so far.

Apparently you don't live in the US. Here in the US money is everything. It doesn't matter if you look like a troll. If you have enough money women will be all over you. Maybe for the wrong reasons but you will still get to have sex with beautiful women. Also, that surgery is definitely available here in the US but again it takes a lot of money.
