Who should ask whom out?

Last week I asked the guy I’ve been seeing if he wanted to meet up. He said yes.
I want to see him this weekend but I don’t know if I should ask him again or wait for him to ask me.
What should I do?

As a man if I ask a woman out and she says yes, maybe this weekend. Then I message her on Wednesday or Thursday and ask if she has time for quick phone call so we can figure out what she would like to do this weekend. If she never replies, then oh well that happens, I move on.

If she said she wanted to meet, but then comes back with some excuse about how she can't, then oh well that happens, I move on.

Most times they are more than accommodating in making plans and it is not an issue. But if you asked him out then I say the pressure is on you to follow up. That might be all he is waiting for you do to, because you asked. And if you don't, he might think like I would think, that you have lost interest. And this happens all the time. Oh well move on..

Sorry I wasn’t specific enough. I meant that last week we went out after I suggested the date.
But this weekend is coming up and he didn’t say anything and I don’t know if I should ask again.

Yeah, if you asked him out and you went out and met... then he needs to follow up. I would wait him out first.

So again as a man when this happens to me with a woman. I usually wait for her to contact me and express an interest. And if she does Express an interest then I ask her out. So if he's not doing that for you. Then he's just not interested, or he's just not the right type of guy for you.

I mean that's what I tell myself when it happens, and Life Goes On
