For the 100th time on this site. People make far too much of this. First off I always pay the first date. If I ain't got the money I don't date it's that simple.

But now as to whether the woman should bear any responsibility for paying? I would say the majority of the women I've dated have OFFERED to pay thier share. I think this is important because it show HER character. Naturally I decline. But that's not the point it's the fact that she was willing to pay.

My point is if you're a guy who constantly feels like you ate wasting money on women maybe you 1. Reevaluate the type of women you are asking out (how many of them have offered to pay?) Or 2. Maybe you shouldn't date. I'm not thinking about who's paying. Or how much it's going to cost me. I decided that before I even left the house. So it's NEVER an issue.

By the way. I would never determine a person's "love" by a date. So your question is absurd.
