Everyone, would you date a person with a lack of empathy?

Yeah I don't think I would I'm an empath and I feel people's energy and emotion deeper the most I see things deeper than most and when you can become one with somebody it's because of that feeling that you get with them actually it's two different things empath and empathy but I want somebody that I can feel their energy to and I want it to be a positive energy

Depends on how they treat others. People can lack empathy and still treat others with respect.

I would rather not. I am highly empathetic and easily get hurt by imagining someone else’s pain and I would rather have a partner who’s empathetic too.

I prefer to stay away from those types. I notice I need people close to me to be highly empathetic towards me & others. Or at least be able to fake it well enough so nobody ever knows it's fake (including me).

If they fake it well, it will be real. Empathy is just a feeling that can be expressed. Robots will be able to mimic it. We humans won't mind so long as we can't see behind it.

If he has self discapline and cognitive empathy and somewhat lower emotional empathy then sure. But not if there is no emotional empathy.
