One must actually get into a relationship to have an ex. I'm the problem in some way, even before I became rather pessimistic over even being able to become a husband someday. After being rejected for so long by various women, the only constant was me. Maybe it has to do with my looks, or my view of all or nothing as opposed to just approaching it without caring. I always went for either being their significant other or nothing at all.

I never commit. A boyfriend is boy I like until I meet another boy I like. It is not like any of the boys are allowed to drive a car. Therefore, our dates are limited to where our parents might take us, him visiting at my house if my parents are home, and mostly group activities.

There have been dozens of women with whom I've shared a special connection scattered around the world and there have been women I've slept with where no emotion was involved. Are we talking only about the ones formally declared to be mutually agreed upon monogamous relationships? Guess around a little shy of a dozen. Women who have stopped time for me by entering a room? A (largely) different dozen (did details of that in another post and pressed for time this morning). Women I was set to marry? 5 or 6... maybe a 7th if I had time to concentrate.
