A guy that is much too old for me said, "It's not your money I'm after." He did not say what he was after but I think I know. If that is a good indication of what guys are after, men do not care about a woman's career.
If a man isn't impressed by my career, I'm not interested in him.
I've worked hard and continue to work hard to be where I'm at and progress.
Someone who doesn't value that is of no interest to me.

There are men who care, but they are not the kind of men women want. Quality men don't care about a woman's career because it's not what they want a woman for. In fact, most men are turned off by a woman who is very career oriented because those women don't tend to make good mothers.
I mean, if she didn’t want kids, I can see why she wouldn’t make a good match for someone who wanted kids. And you don’t sound like a good man yourself the way you’re speaking.
To be fair, I don’t want kids myself because I’m not mentally fit to be a mom. Hopefully, I can find someone who is the same as me. And I feel like you’re trolling because you take a long ass time to answer and you speak so rudely about women.
@Sasha0426 How is it rude to speak the truth about what men need from women? If you are hurt by the truth, that is your own personal problem.
Most men want kids and a family, and they want a woman who will be a mother to their children rather than pay someone else to raise their children for them five days a week. Those are just the facts of humanity.
I take time to respond because I sleep and I have a job. Do you?
Which is all fine and dandy, but never call someone unworthy or not valuable because they’re not on the same page as you. There is no need to bring them down like that and make them feel less of a human being.
@Sasha0426 I never used the word unworthy, so please don't put that word in my mouth.
Men who want, and are serious about having children and a family, and who can support a family like I can, have no use for a career-oriented woman. That's just a fact. Why would men who are serious about a family and actually care about their children (the kind of man most quality women desire), want anything but the best for their children. Think about it.
I'm not sure why you are taking all this so personally considering you don't want kids. Just find a guy who also doesn't want kids. Trust me, there are plenty these days.
I've made more than six figures for each of the last seven years, significantly more for the last four. Since you asked.
Men actually do care, but not in the way most women think. A woman who is ambitious and career-driven is unattractive to men because her priorities are the opposite of men's. A woman like that doesn't offer men the things that men value in women.
I voted men generally dont care, but then I guess they do care because if they have a busy career then they're going to be available less for them. Generally when the man earns more than the woman, the relationship works out.
I've only noticed that the ones who do care care because they themselves can't be the breadwinner and provide for them both alone. But no most I've come across do not care.
i care about her career in several ways but also considered personality nice more important, and i need pretty in my eyes, too. luckily many pretty options to meet.
I think some care but some don't. I think it also depends on the career. Like if a girl had a career in exotic dancing or onlyfans I think the guy would care a whole lot.
I disagree. I think women's careers can add a very interesting element to who they are as people. I don't view women as a source of income stability though.
I'm not sure. If her career is about being a scientist, why not? But wouldn't be such a woman outside of my league (I'm from the popular classes), and I don't believe in man-woman friendship, for the most part, so why shall I care?
me and my partner have the same career lol. we cook together, we clean together. there is no "YOU must cook for me because i'm a man" like fuck off lol. it's supposed to be teamwork and it's not the 1950's anymore.
Fuck that. Women don’t respect men they’re equal too. Women can’t lead or be equal to men, they get frustrated with their man and file for divorce. Teamwork doesn’t imply doing the same jobs.
Just remember relationship satisfaction is at an all time low, people get married when they’re old and women are almost infertile. Over half of marriages end in divorce, mostly initiated by women. Somethings gone wrong, it’s clearly because people are being brainwashed by modern propaganda. Soon everyone’s gonna believe you can pick your gender.
They’re literally encouraging men to cut their balls off and not step up and ‘be the man of the house.’ Of course all you women are angry that there’s no men to discipline you
your incel complex is showing. stay single and mad while the rest of us are happy and moving on with our lives because we don't expect our partners to be our slaves. i can tell why you'd get divorced tho, look at your attitude towards woman. of course they're going to be mad if you treat them like that. wake up dude.

Is that why women are expected give up their dreams to make their partners happy?
@Sasha0426 Which dreams?
Like, if they want to be a doctor or something.
@Sasha0426 A woman who is more interested in being a doctor than a real mother is of no value to a good man.
I mean, if she didn’t want kids, I can see why she wouldn’t make a good match for someone who wanted kids. And you don’t sound like a good man yourself the way you’re speaking.
I have a job and I want to be a vet one day. Am I suppose to give all of that up for a man? I don’t have a man yet, but my question still stands.

But, if you want to go down that road, I bet you don’t make 6 figures like men are suppose to.

Some do, some don’t.
My friends are working men who want a partner. A lot of them do encourage their partners to get their career going and to set goals.
I've only noticed that the ones who do care care because they themselves can't be the breadwinner and provide for them both alone. But no most I've come across do not care.

I do care. Women deserve respect and support for wanting a career; especially in a society that doesn't encourage it as well as it could.
I'd say most men don't care.
Well, I like female physicians, politicians, and I am waiting for America's first US President. So I'm proud of women with outstanding careers.
I disagree. I think women's careers can add a very interesting element to who they are as people. I don't view women as a source of income stability though.
I've never cared what any woman I dated did for a living. I can't imagine why I ever would. I barely care what I do for a living.
I would say it depends on the guy and his upbringing because not all guys want kids or are keen on having a stay at home wife.
I like dating women who have a career of some sort. To me it is interesting and I like asking them questions about their job, etc.
makes no difference to me
her Bachelors, Masters, PhD has no bearing on relationship value
I'm not sure. If her career is about being a scientist, why not? But wouldn't be such a woman outside of my league (I'm from the popular classes), and I don't believe in man-woman friendship, for the most part, so why shall I care?
We don't care what a girls career is. Girls do care what a guys career is and so think men should be impressed but we just aren't.
It's nice if she has a good paying career but it's not the no1 priority. Loyalty is very important too.

End up in divorce like the rest of them then.
Men and women will always be loved for different things, that’s why women wear makeup and men achieve top positions in careers.
LOL who hurt you?
