When someone you're dating says 'i love you' within only a couple weeks of dating what do you think?

Hey if thats how they truly feel then i don't see an issue

They got some kind of agenda or ulterior motives

I would just chalk it up to infatuation and not real love

Some people call ‘love’ the adrenaline rush and euphoria of being with someone you’re attracted to. But that same ‘love’ is often here and gone is 90 days.


That’s not love. That’s just an emotional high.


Love is deep. Love is strong. Love endures. Love sacrifices. Love is power. Love is not weak or fickle or brittle.


As for the manipulative side, they could be just telling you what they think you want to hear, to get something from you—to get you do something for them.


Whether it be manipulation or emotional immaturity, neither is a good sign.

I'd assume he was lovebombing me, or insecure to where he just wants to be in a relationship. Either way: red flag. I wouldn't like it, and I'd tell him to reassess his feelings.

I'd be quite guarded. I might continue to date them but I wouldn't really trust them in the sense that someone who says " I love you" so soon is someone who doesn't really weigh words and so I would think they might be a bit of an actor.
