If you want to go on a date. You should ask him. If you only wait on someone. Then your options are limited to who makes a move on you. You wouldn’t want to wait too long and he finds someone else.


In the event which you get rejected. You have closure and aren’t wasting your time waiting on a guy who ain’t interested in you.



But. Depending on your meaning of talking which can mean a lot of things. I would assume he at least has some interest.
