We were supposed to have a date tonight?!

This is a little long but please bear with me :) This guy I have been talking to is afraid of relationships and it has taken him a long time to agree to this date. We agreed we would go to a movie tonight (we decided on Wednesday). So I texted him yesterday, but he didn't respond. Sometimes his phone, for whatever reason, won't receive my texts. But I didn't wanna be a pest (just in case he had received the text) and text him again. So then today I just texted him and was like "since you didn't respond to my text yesterday that means I get to pick the movie! lol :)" no response. then a little while later I gave him two movie options. again, no response. I feel like if I text him again it's gonna look REALLY desperate! but I really wanna go tonight! I just need a little guidance please?! :)

You have done enough contact on your side. He knows how to reach you and he knows you had plans, so it very rude of him to act this way.

I received some great advice regarding contact. I was told to think of it as tennis. Once you hit the ball over the net, it is the other player's job to hit it back and until they do you have to wait. You have lobbed the ball over the net 3 times now and he is just not playing. Worse, you say this guy has taken a long time to agree to this date. I would never want to date a guy like that. That is not the type of attitude you want from a guy. You deserve to be with a guy who thinks you are amazing and can put aside any of his concerns about relationships because he is just so intoxicated with you. Let this guy go and make yourself available for a guy who is ready to play! Good luck!

Don't text him! He's obviously blowing you and the date off and not texting back on purpose. Go out with your girlfriends because sorry to say but this guy doesn't want to go out on this date tonight.

call him if you have a date, because sometimes guys are confusing, I have one that does the same thing good luck and I hope he isn't blowing you off, don't text anymore thought
