So I’m pretty close friends with my crush and she is quite aware that I like her. We hang out completely alone and she’s pretty comfortable around me it seems. I asked her out a while back and she said she didn’t want to be in a relationship with anybody, I don’t believe this was simply to let me down easy bc she’s been single for quite a long time. Recently (today), I kind of indirectly asked her again and she said the same thing, she wants to be single. Im not going to ask her ever again at the risk of being pushy and creepy.
I’m going to completely give up on trying to flirt with her because I don’t want her to feel uncomfortable, I still really like her and spending time with her though… and she talks about how she wants to hang out more often. Is there a chance she might want to consider me as an option if she ever gets in the headspace to want to be in a relationship again or am I completely delusional?
Honesty is welcome. At the end of the day forgetting about seeing her that way would probably be the best option for me…

Well i thing is clear here.
She likes you... She like you a lot. More than enough to feel "save" around you. She does not want a relationship { 2x } tells you she don't want one.
The thing is
- maybe she " fell " for you but doesn't realize it. Her heart wants to be close to you but her mind does not.. ( the no relation thing or finds reasons not to - like age or loosing her best friend if it goes wrong ) and she is in a constant battle with her self
- maybe she realy just want to be friends.. uhm well extreme close friends. ( so no go for you then )
To be honest... that only time can tell where this is going. If she is in the "battle" you need to respect that and give her time. if she actually wants you to be her " male friend " to hangout with you should also respect that.
Maybe you should go for the last option... Just be friends...
And it the time is right or the mind clears maybe she will ask you anyway ( because personally i think the 1 option is in order : why she knows that you like her , she rejected 2x but wants to hangout MORE.. if she realy was not interested she would not ask / say that )
but realy give her some space to find things out...
I’d ask her one more time, third time’s the charm. If she says no, cut your losses and find someone else xo
