Trending & News I feel like it’s easier to get to know someone based on their social media. If I wanted someone to truly get to know me then social media would be a better option. Number may seem more intimate but you can’t get anything out of a number. You can learn so much about a person from having them on social media and learn nothing about them from having their number.
Social media is likely to have him see you as only for sex though, just FYI. It can only do more harm than good to most guys
Haha, no you can't, you just learn about the imposter they portray themselves as online.
@BoopBoopBeep that says a lot about a person lol. If someone is an imposter online or a troll I’d like to know what I’m getting myself into. On social media you can really get to know how a person thinks by the memes they share and so much more
@Sarahdelacruz
Do you not know what a catfish is?
You don't KNOW that they are an imposter online. That's why people are so easy to fool with fake online profiles. Like you, they're convinced they can see through it. Do you have any idea how many fake profiles I've used for work over the years? People like you always believe them.
Everyone online is an imposter. They maximize the good and minimize the bad, or highlight the bad to garish sympathy. There are tomes of psychological literature devoted to how altered mental health arises from too much reliance on other people's social media and how the inaccurate portrayal contained therein leads to depressive episodes... but you know better than all the Ph. Ds who have studied this?
@BoopBoopBeep you’re crazy. I’m not reading all that junk you wrote. I’m not talking about fake accounts. I’m talking about REAL ACCOUNTS you bozo
@Sarahdelacruz If you could tell the difference in a real and fake account I wouldn't be so good at my job ;)
@BoopBoopBeep weirdo
@Sarahdelacruz
I understand that online is make believe and it's easier to type something than actually produce tangible evidence of something, so how am I the weirdo?
This is Detective Work 101. There's nothing breathtaking here.
Social media is easier cause if could be as a friend or as someone who’s tryna slide into those dm’s and you get to see who they tell the world that they are.
Frankly, I would prefer to get the social media account first because the phone number can be risky. We know people who say that when the woman they meet does not suit them, or because there are people who always disturb the man's phone number by opening social media accounts and creating fake accounts, I think it is better to use social media. It is possible.
If I'm in contact with them, I will ask them for a date. i would only ask for their number if I had just met them and didn't have time to plan a date.

How about just asking for a date?
Social media. That way, I can see the version of themselves that they show to the world, what sort of things they enjoy, etc.
Number. I don't waste my time on people that think they can use social media to communicate.
Social media, prolly talk there for a bit then casually ask for the number
Number. Social Media doesn’t mean anything. Anyone can put a face on for Instagram or FaceBook.
This is actually a tough one.. nowadays when you just met someone should you ask for their number? Whatsapp? Instagram? So confusing!
I don’t have social media so I usually ask for their phone number or email
Social media first, chat her up, get digits after & then secure the bag.
I just ask her out right there, and if she says yes we exchange numbers. If not, I move on.
If a girl says take my social media I walk away.. She's NOT interested in you. SIMPLE if she gives you her social media.
social. it's more casual then numbers.
Neither, we're hitting the bedroom.
Number. Social media is lame.
I don't do social media. Number or nothing.
I'm too old for this social media bullshit.
I'd never contact anyone I'm interested in through social media. Those are single use fun only. You're not alone brother.
Social media is a joke.
