Nice guys finish last hmm..

To me its giving the I'm a nice guy troupe by doing the bare minimum. Like just because you're nice doesn't automatically mean that someone will even like you romantically.

You listening to someone's problems all day makes you a free therapist, a confidante; not their potential romantic partner.

Now I'm not saying you should chnage yourself to meet women's expectations but little things go a long way. Like subtly wearing their favorite colors and watching not their favorite movie but a genre of said movie. Heck in the end even if they don't like you youncan discover new things through then for yourself. Like hey they didn't like you in the end but atleats you found a new cool movie genre.

Because they think “friendzoning” is a thing, when the reality is he approached with romantic intentions and didn’t reveal them until a platonic connection was established and then got upset that she didn’t share those romantic desires she had no way of knowing about.

The only people I’ve ever heard saying that is guys who don’t approach/engage with women, expect women to do 100% of the courting, then whine that nobody approaches them.

I've never really heard this saying so I'm going to use logic to decipher this and I'm going to presume it has something to so with chivalry and that nice guys will leave the relationship only after the girl has been the first to walk away.
